Pt.2 - CONFESSION OF PORNOGRAPHER HAZEL SPEES

Excerpts of the Confessions of Hazel Spees, from Discovery obtained in October, 1997, from the offices of Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers. When the Gastons printed this document in their newspaper, A Voice For Children, and ever since, the whole government of the State of Oregon has actively retaliated and in collusion to protect the pornographer and to destroy the Gaston family and insure Melissa NEVER be returned to her family. Parental Rights were terminated last September, the cases are on appeal, now a one-half million dollar judgement has been signed and the Gastons have heard that Melissa has been adopted out already, and like thousands of other parents have no way of knowing if she is even alive at this point. The Gastons are equally relentless that the corruption and LIES SHALL not prevail, and God willing, Melissa will soon be lawfully returned to her family.

This confession was read into the record by Hazel Spees, under oath, before a Jury, in the Court of Judge Duane Ertsgaard, April 6, 1998, in Marion County, Oregon. The Jury found, by affirmative defense, that Spees and other State elected officials, agents and judiciary, are guilty of Racketeering and Conspiracy against the Gaston family to protect themselves from being exposed engaging in criminal black market child selling and pornography operating within the State Offices For Services to Children and Families.

This Court Record has been published and televised numerous times since 1998. Hazel Spees and officer Gary Robertson were Citizens Arrested in the court of Judge Donald Kalberer on July 27, 1998. District Attorney Dale Penn, and Judge Joseph Ochoa, both who are running unopposed at this time in Marion County, have both admitted to concealing this videotape, concealing evidence of STATE crimes, while maliciously falsely prosecuting the Gastons to prevent their whistle blowing on the corrupt Oregon Government.

This confession is "cleaned up," an effort by Hazel Spees to "cover" all the events of sexual abuse that she could think of that Melissa might bring up, and to put them in some kind of light that ultimately blames the child for Spees' pedophilia, as she says, "Melissa went too far." The way Specs wakes up Melissa and plants "dreams" in her "memory" is classic mind control technique, and when Spees asks Melissa about it in the morning a continuation of the implantment. At this time Melissa testified in court, in reports and in doctor interviews, that her father never abused her in any way, adamant, and no signs of abuse ever. It runs all through the discovery that the State could not force "disclosures," and all along has been protecting criminal foster parents. We do know that the videotape was transported, a Federal Crime, and has not been in Ochoa's court for more than two years and two DA's have testified under oath that they do not know where it is at this time. Will Gaston saw the exculpatory evidence in March, 1998, and it is pornography, it is encouraged, and it is edited, with breaks in the film during the pornography. (Another point - the "sexy dance" striptease Spees is filming Melissa doing, according to discovery, was learned in the home of Ionis Aldis and Shaunna Escobar Aldis, former foster parents who sexually abused Melissa and her siblings in 1992-1994, also burned Melissa in their home, as the record states, and has been admitted in court two years ago. The Aldis' have an open day care center at this time called Precious Little Lambs, according to discovery, the day care was opened AFTER the police knew of "ongoing criminal abuse in the home," then the documents show supervisors Guy Edmonds and Susan Smee "cooking the books" to say "I can now say there are no reports of abuse in the home" [some of the deleted reports are included in this excerpt] ... There was an infant that died in that home last year, also... no investigation reported... the Gastons have ALL of the documents and evidence in these undisputed court records)...

Spees Confession
September 30, 1996

Larry Lawson called and said "Well, you know tomorrow is the big day." I said that I know it and was really getting concerned because I hadn't heard from him. He said that he would pick up Melissa tomorrow (Oct 1) and he and the "big boy cop" would take her back to Woodburn and see if she would tell them anything about her daddy. I told him that she would probably not say anything because she had only said it to me once, and shortly, a few days later, had taken it all back and said that it was a lie and that her daddy only took good care of her and he never touched her privates. She said if she says that that he would go to prison and get dead. She loves her dad and even though she knows much more than she tells, she wants to protect him. Larry said he would get back to me about the time he would pick her up. October 1 - My panties are in a wad. Larry did not come for Melissa and he hasn't called. I have several calls in to him and have not heard from him.

October 2 - Larry and I finally connected and he told me that the court session was postponed until October 28. The dad has a new lawyer and is trying very hard to get Melissa back. Larry told me that we are going to try to get Melissa to tell all she knows. He has scheduled her for counseling twice a week until October 28. He wants me to allow Melissa to do and say anything she wants to without teaching her limits concerning sexual behavior, dances, etc. He said that he thinks that she will get all the good fine moral teaching after the 28, so she doesn't think that she is doing "wrong" when she is explicit sexually, so she will feel freer to show us all she knows about sexual behavior. He also said, "Do you have a video camera?" I answered "yes" and he said "Get her on tape. Ask her to show you the things she has shown you before."

Late October 2 - I videoed Melissa. Woe! I asked her if she wanted to dance some of the dances she knows for the video camera. She was excited and continually asked me to tape her more. She started out with wild dance like the "leg slap dance" and the "tiger dance" and it escalated into the "sexy dance". After several minutes, I was exhausted and stopped videoing and then she continued to talk and dance. I asked her to tell me about the "tickle" and she demonstrated to me how she gets when her dad tickles her and how her breath goes when he tickles her. She said that it is when your body moves inside. She pointed to her throat and described the movement inside her body that the tickle gives her. Then she continued to ask if she could do more sexy dance. Because Larry said to let her do what she wants to do, I said "Do whatever you want to do Melissa". She took off her underpants and her undershirt and did a dance I have never seen before. She has never asked to take off her clothes, nor has she demonstrated such a sexual dance. She stroked herself all over and then sat down and started touching her privates more intensely so I told her that was enough. I couldn't believe that she went that far and I felt totally comfortable about it.

October 3, AM - When I took Melissa to the bathroom in the middle of the night she told me that she was having a dream about being back with her daddy. She said that he was the husband and she was the wife. They were doing the sexy dance and they were having sex. She has said several times that she wants to have sex with her boyfriend when she is 16. I have told her that she needs to wait for her husband and when she is twenty some and it will be special for the husband she chooses; that sex is not just for a boyfriend. In the morning when I talked to her about the dream I asked her what she remembered and she said that she was with her daddy. I asked her what else and she said "nuffing." I told her what she had told me and she denied that she had said it and that she didn't dream it. I just let it be because Larry told me not to try to teach her anything that would make her feel self-conscious about so she would be sure to divulge the most of her memories.

October 3 - Larry picked up the video. I told him that I needed a letter to protect me because the video looks like porn to me. I think Melissa went further than either of us could have anticipated. I made a letter before school to have Larry sign to protect me. When Larry picked up the video I handed him the letter. It was very explicit and pointed. He said, "Oh, I'll draft another letter that will state it more clearly than this." So I said, so you won't sign it? He said "Do you want me to (call) Doug and tell him so there is a witness to this?" I didn't want Doug (Smith, the principal of Monitor School) to be involved so I said, "Oh, Larry, I'm just going to trust you, but I really do feel like I need some protection here." He said that he would be sure to get a letter for me.

Later that day I talked to Kem Sunich. Kem was astounded about him asking me to tape her. She said that he could get into big trouble and that she would have to report it to her Building Supervisor. I am totally worried that I will get entrapped in this and lose my teaching certificate. This scares me to death. Kem said that I will not be held accountable nor responsible since Larry directed me to do it. I feel horrible because I am afraid that this will mean that Melissa will not get a fair shake either. If her dad gets wind of this and his lawyer goes to work, they could use it to make the state give her back. What a horrible mistake that would be.

October 8 - I called Larry. Larry told me that he couldn't talk to me any more and directed me to call Susan (Smee) or Dan (Herman) at the Salem Branch as they are the Building Supervisors. He said that my instincts were better than his and that the tape is now in the hands of the supervisors and that he would probably be taken off the case. He was not able to give me anymore answers or information.

I called Susan and left my name, number and times available so I could get some answers to what is going on. I called Kem who filled me in on a little of what the process is in that probably the ease would be reassigned and that Susan would be great. She said that she had talked with Susan at length about the case as I have told her and that she would put her job on the line for me because she feels that not only has Melissa been victimized, but I have too. It is very serious and I am just beside myself.

Later - Susan called back when I was visiting with the neighbor about a tongue sticking out incident involving Melissa. She told me not to worry and that she could be reached at Woodburn tomorrow after 8:45. What a mess.

October 12, 1996 - Diana Rainey of the Salem office called yesterday and said that she is Melissa's new caseworker. She called when I was still at the State Wide Inservice and said that she would call at 5:30. She didn't call. I called Kem today and she told me her name and that she was a good caseworker and that all the children in that family are having a terrible time. Poor kids. Wonder what is happening. Kem also said that a State Police Officer would be contacting me and that the case had been turned over to them and that they would be asking me about what Larry told me to do. I told her that I didn't think that he was thinking that Melissa would go into such detail of what she did. Neither did I. I thought that the caseworker would know what was appropriate to do and what was not. This really scares me. Today was the first that Melissa has mentioned about the video since the evening that I videoed her. She asked if we could watch it on TV. She had asked that evening, but I told her that we better not. Today I told her that we would not be watching it because it was not a good thing. She said "we shouldn't have videoed it." I asked her what, and she said "me, naked. I asked her if she had ever been videoed before doing her dances and she said "no." I just dropped it and she seemed OK with it.

Susan said something about Melissa saying that we had prayed for her and put oil on her and something about demons. I told Susan that we had prayed for her (a pastor and his wife and me) and asked Jesus to protect her from the bad dreams and that the devil could not make her have bad dreams ever again. We didn't say anything about demons and I have not ever heard Melissa talk about demons even when she is talking about the religious things she already knew about. She does talk about the devil and seems to know that he is always up to no good. When we prayed, we talked in a language that she would understand and that she could relate to. Eric put a small amount of oil, from the cap of the oil jar, on his finger, touched her forehead, and then put his hand on her head, while Marilee and I held her hands and prayed with her. We prayed that Jesus would touch her little mind and take out all the bad thoughts and dreams that come in her head and that the devil would leave her alone so she wouldn't have any more bad dreams. She has been sleeping much better and hasn't mentioned monsters and ghosts since.

I am exhausted. This is all such hard stuff. There has been no malice and no intention to do harm, but to protect this little girl. Now it is in such a major hassle.

October 24, 1996 - This afternoon Melissa and I met with Diana Rainey at Childrens Mental Health while Maria had her counseling. She seemed to know a lot about Melissa, and obviously had read her files and all the correspondence have done in relation to special rates and Citizens Review Board. I was impressed in how she handled Melissa's questions and responses. Melissa seemed OK with the caseworker change and asked only a few questions. She was distracted a lot by the room because it was a mess and toys were strewn all over. She kept saying "this place is a pig sty. "

October 25, 1996 - Diana called this morning to tell me what a great job I am doing. This really makes me feel better about the chaos I find myself in concerning this case.

Later in the day, State Police Officer Michael Gower called and we set a time to meet at 2:15 today. He came to the school and we talked for an hour and forty-five minutes. I am exhausted. He also talked to Whitney about Melissa and what she knows about the whole situation. He wants Shelli to call and set up an appointment next week to talk. He told me that this is only an interview and that he will make the report and that he will hand it over to a district attorney in Salem. I told him a lot of the history of Melissa and how she has displayed sensual behavior. I told him how Larry had asked me to video these behaviors and how, after I had done it, 1 realized that this tape seemed very "pornish" to me and that I had asked Larry for a letter to cover me in this because he assured me it was OK. I forgot to tell him that I had asked Larry when he picked it up if he was sure that this is what he wants, and he said "yes," and I asked if he had ever done anything like this and he said "no." I think the tape turned out to be way more than he had asked for in that Melissa went farther than either of us had ever known her to go.

November 9, 1996 - It is actually 1.30 a.m. on the 10th (I can't sleep again tonight.) I forgot to document that Melissa told me that she told Shirley that Shaunna and her husband/boyfriend touched her privates. When she told me, I said to her "I thought you said that only the boyfriend touched your privates, not Shaunna. That Shaunna touched your privates just to clean your bottom." She said, she did just clean my bottom. I responded, "But did you tell Shirley that she didn't touch your privates in a bad way?" She said "no." I told her that she needed to be sure to tell Shirley the whole truth about Shaunna because it would get Shaunna into trouble if she didn't. She said "OK."

August 1, 1996 - Melissa told me that there was some foul play at Shaunna's some time ago. We told Larry about it and he thought that maybe she had some of her facts crossed with the actual perpetrator. Then this afternoon she was telling Kathleen Starkey from SCF about the fire episode that Raymond was blamed for and said that the boyfriend really did it to her and blamed it on Raymond. Then later she told me that the boyfriend, who she had said touched her privates -- and Shaunna did too -- that the boyfriend came into her room and pulled down his underwear and showed her his privates. I asked her what it looked like and she said that he had a thing that stuck out. I asked her to show me with her fingers how it stuck out and she indicated with her fingers an erection state."

July 21, 1996 - On the way to pick up Whitney at McDonalds, she began telling me about Shaunna and her husband. She said "Shaunna was real rude. She was touching our privates. She treated us like we were babies, changing our diapers and feeding us baby food and touching our privates." She said "Bubba members everything." When I asked how she was touching her privates, she showed me by pulling up and stroking back and forth on her vaginal area. She said that Shaunna's husband told Shaunna and locked her in her room and grounded her then he burned her hand and blamed it on Bubba. But she remembers it was not Bubba, but Shaunna's husband that burned her hand. She said something about a red trash can that he said for her to reach into that, that there was nothing in there, but when she reached in it burned her hand. Then she said that her dad took her to the hospital.

Caseworker Diana Rainey continues in her report November 12, 1996, (five days after Melissa should have been returned to her father): "There was no further investigation done regarding this disclosure by Melissa to Hazel Spees Melissa stated in play sessions that ‘not her real dad, but Shaunna's dad,' hurt her. She was a bad lady and a bad dad. Never wanted to go there again. ‘Shaunna and her husband touched my privates and then I touched my privates, too. Shaunna was really mean.. ..He put me in my bedroom a long time, sometimes he hollered and showed me his weiner. I called him meany... Shaunna hurt me really bad, my arm. Her husband too. Shaunna and her husband taught me the sex dance. I called him a meany. He said, "You'll be in my room days and days if you tell"'....Melissa stated that she hated living with Shaunna, that mom and dad... ‘He made me do really bad things.' She continues to discuss Shaunna's husband as putting his private parts on her leg and showing his private parts to her."

And again to Spees: "This is the real truth. I know I said bad words some more and I was as naughty as I could be and I said the middle bad word, and I was in corners and corners, but now I tell the truth, and I like it when I tell the truth, and I never gonna say bad words no more." (Punished until she cooperated with Spees perverted pornographic fantasies) .
